JG has over 25 years’ experience working in Marketing roles across the Financial Services industry in both B2C and B2B markets.

Currently, he leads the Customer Retention and Engagement function for Satsuma Loans, the new online lender of Provident Financial and in the last 12 months, has overseen the delivery of the secure identity and access management capability for customers. With over 100,000 registered users and in excess of 1.5m individual sessions, the delivery of ‘Login’ has been a major game changer for the business. In the last 3 months, he has also overseen the delivery of the Satsuma App which is built on the capability developed for the secure customer login capability.

Passionate about the customer experience he has recently gone ‘back to school’ with the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing to ensure the latest digital thinking and qualifications are built into his day to day delivery of ‘customer first’ thinking and execution.

Married with 2 teenage children, John lives in West Yorkshire.
