Robert Dawson Scott is Head of Engagement at STV plc, the company that owns and operates the ITV franchises across Scotland, reaching 89% of the population of Scotland every month. An award winning television producer and journalist by background, rather than a marketeer, he joined the company in 2008 as web editor.
As such, he was part of the small team which launched the STV Player and built traffic across STV’s platforms from a token web presence to its present position which now averages 250,000 unique visitors and serves 65,000 video streams every day. STV now has a database of over 2m customers.
